Support Staff – Full Time (Condell)


 

  • Full-time: 80 hours per fortnight
  • Regular Days Off: Tuesday and Wednesday off each week
  • Pay Range:  $24.35 to $29.54 per hour (based on qualifications

About the role:

Join our team as a full-time Support Staff member based in Papanui, Christchurch, where you'll play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in a warm, home-like setting. 

You’ll support them with everyday activities such as shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal care, and community outings. This role offers a meaningful opportunity to build trusted relationships and provide compassionate, person-centred support tailored to each individual's needs.

Note: Although Hawksbury is accredited to hire staff on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV), we do not have a Job Check for this position so cannot support applicant with the visa process.

Ideally, you'll have an NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with:

  • A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.
  • A full New Zealand driver's licence (essential).
  • Great communication skills (written and verbal).
