Support Staff – Full Time and Part Time (Mosgiel)
Location: Mosgiel, Otago
Pay Rate: $24.35 - $29.54 per hour (depending on qualifications)
Hours: Full-time and part-time positions available

About the Role
This is a highly varied role supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives in a safe, warm, and home‑like environment.
As a Support Staff member, you will provide a mix of practical assistance and meaningful connection. You’ll have the time and support to truly get to know the people you support, the focus is building relationships.

What you’ll be doing
- Supporting daily routines including shopping, meal preparation, household tasks
- Providing personal care respectfully and safely
- Supporting community activities and outings
- Encouraging independence, choice, and wellbeing
- Follow support plans and maintain accurate records
What you will bring
We’re looking for someone who is flexible, compassionate, and reliable, with a genuine passion for supporting others and demonstrates the following;
- A respectful, person-centred approach to providing support to people with learning disabilities.
- Good common sense and ability to work independently
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good computer skills
- Alignment with our values – Empowering, Respectful, Compassionate, Understanding, Honest
- Experience as a Support Worker / Caregiver / Healthcare Assistant or NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 2 or higher) however we welcome applications from people who share our values and are willing to train.
What you must have
- Availability to work weekends and a variety of shifts
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence (essential)
- The right to work in New Zealand
