Support Staff – Awake Night Shift

•  Avonhead & Wigram, Christchurch
• 64 hours per fortnight (Four nights per week)
• $23.99 – $29.10 per hour (depending on qualifications), plus $2.00 per hour night shift allowance

About the role:

We’re seeking a dedicated Night Shift Support Staff member to join our team, working across two residential homes — Avonhead (2 nights) and Wigram (2 nights). This is a sole-charge role, providing high-quality overnight support for adults with intellectual disabilities.

Shift Hours: Thursday to Sunday nights, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Total Hours: 64 hours per fortnight

About You

Ideally, you will hold the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 (or equivalent). More importantly, you bring:

• A genuine passion for supporting people with intellectual disabilities
• A full New Zealand driver’s licence
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good computer literacy
