Senior Support Staff – Full Time (Wigram)
- Full-time 80 hours per fortnight
- Consistent hours and regular Friday & Sat off

About the Role
We’re looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Senior Support Staff member to join our residential team in Wigram, supporting people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling, independent lives in a safe, warm, and home‑like environment.
This is a relationship‑based role where you’ll have the time to truly get to know the people you support. Your day will include a mix of practical assistance and meaningful connection, such as:
- Supporting daily routines (shopping, meal preparation, household tasks)
- Providing personal care respectfully and safely
- Supporting community activities and outings
- Encouraging independence, choice, and wellbeing
- Provide support, encouragement and guidance to other support staff
If you’re experienced in disability support and building a long‑term career in the sector, we’d love to hear from you.
About You
Ideally, you’ll have a NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 3 or above) or equivalent.
You’ll also bring:
- A positive, respectful attitude toward supporting people with learning disabilities
- Experience providing disability support
- A full New Zealand driver’s licence (essential)
- Eagerness to continue learning and developing as a Support Staff member
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability and a genuine interest in people‑centred care
