Personal Support Assistant – Part Time
- Hours: 21 hours per fortnight
- Location: Halswell, Christchurch
- Payrate: $23.99 - $29.10 per hour (depending on qualifications)
About the role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives? Join our team as a part-time Personal Support Assistant in one of our Flexible Disability Support funded homes.
Roster: Wednesday 10am until 2pm, Thursday 8.30am until 3.00pm
The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality support that enhances the well-being and quality of life of the residents. Personal Support Assistants foster a safe, respectful, and positive environment, upholding the dignity and rights of each individual. This includes assisting adults with learning disabilities in the daily management of their home and encouraging active participation in their community
Ideally, you'll have an NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with:
- A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.
- A full New Zealand driver's licence.
- Great communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good computer skills.
