1:1 Support Staff – Full Time
- 80 hours per fortnight, 7 days off per fortnight
- Avonhead, Christchurch
- $23.99 - $29.10 per hour (depending on qualifications)
About the role:
Are you passionate about making a positive impact in people's lives? Join our team as a full-time Support Staff member at our home in Avonhead, Christchurch.
With this role you will be working as part of the house supporting residents with their everyday activities, including shopping, meal preparation, household chores, personal support, and community outings.
This individual is a warm-hearted, middle-aged man with a passion for animals, gardening, and keeping vehicles spotless. He thrives on social interactions, loves meeting new friends, and cherishes building lasting friendships. He is always ready to lend a hand, whether it's tending to your garden, caring for his pet, or giving your car a thorough clean. He requires hands-on support to continue doing what he loves and making a positive impact in the community.
Ideally, you'll have an NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Level 2 or equivalent along with:
- A positive attitude to supporting people with learning disability.
- A full New Zealand driver's licence.
- Great communication skills (written and verbal).
- Goodcomputer skills.
